Which is hot! Even hotter than Ottawa right now. The best temperature is between -5 and 15 degrees celsius, it keeps my brain cool.

Hey Boss351! I posted and searched for Cincinnati flyers in the Lomac forum last year and found nobody. But here in one day, I found two other Prop Jockeys!!

Do either of you guys know of any local Flight Sim Clubs? Probably not, but just wondering....

Had the hottest March day last month, something like 42 degrees! Like to see how you snowy people could handle it! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Just fine actually. Canada is the land of extreme weather. Two weeks ago it was -1 and heavy snow storm. Yesterday we had 18 degrees and it was beautiful outside. Two months ago it was sitting at -10 or -15. Summers usually go upto 35 degrees...and I still play soccer in that heat.

Congrats cpirrmann on your flying!! I flew out of Blue Ash about 5 years ago a their Air Show. It was a rainy day, and quite an adventure too. They were giving airplane and helicopter rides. When we landed, a private plane that landed in front of us rolled of the runway and down the hill upon landing. Then we also found out that a helicopter got one of it's runners caught on a cable and crashed at the same time. That was quite a day... Everybody was ok I think.

So, how old are you Cincinnati guys?? I'm 45 and a software engineer.

What other sims do you guys play? I have Lomac, CFS3, and now SHIII which is great!

I know how this snowy person would handle it.
Put a hat on my head, find the nearest beach &
wade out & wait for the sharks.

I can handle the cold but thirty something is hot enough for me thankyou.

Hey AStotzer, I'm 46 and a Software QA Engineer... I've been flying the IL2 series since the original IL2. Sorry GR7_Bizu-RO, I don't work for Ford, just have a thing for Mustangs... Don't know of any local Flight Sim Clubs.

Did any of you Cincinnati guys go to the Lunken Air Show last summer? They had a P40 and a Corsair, which flew in the show. Three of the original Black Sheep VMF-214 pilots, Lt. Col. Robert W. McClurg, Lt. Col. Jim Hill and Lt. Col. Tom Ermich where also there. I was able to talk with them for about 20 minutes... I also had McClurg's book "On Boyington's Wing" which, all three signed...

I didn't, but I thought a buddy of mine said they had a B-17 there that you could fly in, or maybe it was just go into. I can't remember for sure.

How would you compare the Lunken show to the Blue Ash show?? I usually go to the Blue Ash show, and park my 4Runner in the Belcan parking lot right next to the runway, get out my lawn chair and watch the show for free.
