Yes, I noticed that my self. The tale of a dolphin is horizontil and the sharks vertical.

Nope, I catch the bus by the Golden Gate Bridge, and I see Great Whites jumping all the time. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I use to live on Pretaro hill<----excuse my spelling. And I was stationed at the Naval Weapons Station in Concord. I never once ever heard of a great white jumping out of the water off the San Fran. coast. I would have loved to have seen that wile I lived there.
The only place that I know that great whites exhibit behavior like that on a regular basis is off the coast of South Africa.

Totally Wrong!!

Almost all fish whether smallmouth bass or great white shark attack from underneath and slightly to the rear.

If you know of deep sea animal behavior you would know that a sharks first hit is to utilize concussion to knock its prey out, then it circles back around to chomp N' swallow. As they cant chew! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
the picture you post
(if in fact not a photoshopped near identical copy of the original photo) also has a sea lion
(west coast BTW!) about fifteen feet above his head with blood gettin knocked literally from mouth and ears.
If you have seen the actual live footage from which that pic is derived it would creep out even the most heartiest of ppl.
That shot isn't a joke! NOT one iota!!
All fish basically attack th same if carnivores. Just different sizes,if equipped with teeth attack diff prey and thus achieve diff sizes.
If a smallmouth bass had teeth I would not even go near a freshwater creek, stream or river.
Alligators Schmalligators!!

BTW just looked into my books that is in fact a near copy of the original film.
Yhe give away:
No spray hitting the surface even as he /she/it is airborne.
And it isn't quite that far out of the water as shown.
But the posted pic is a near copy.
But in the real there is blood clearly visible in the air.
That is how violent the original is.

Later,
Mjollnir.
