Dogfights (http://www.history.com/minisites/dogfights/)

This is the site for the History Channel show dogfights. You know they do this often.. set up a forum for shows that they do... but we have a unique opportunity here guys..... I think we can bang this site so hard that they will take notice..... and maybe we can get more of that stuff. So hit it hard guys.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

<span class="ev_code_white">Oleg: I think players should upgrade their PC after the release of Storm of War: The Battle of Britain, but not now. Minimum system would be probably like last year good system for IL-2 series. The simulation has gone from what was to be a study sim involving one aircraft to a real monster anthology of WWII aviation. The engine has been stretched to fit multi-engined bombers, aircraft that are linked (such as the Mistel and the TB-3/I-16 combinations), aircraft carriers, runway cratering, working searchlights, etc.

Visits.. posts.. comments about the show...... and not just once but regularly..... who knows.

From were I sit the more people who become interested in simming the better off we all are. Shows like this? They will suck in all kinds of folks. They just need to loose the game pad on the advertisement for the show.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I recommended Franz Stigler's escort mission: where his BF 109 escorted Charlie Brown's B-17 part way back to England. Mr. Stigler lives near my home town and is a member of the air museum only blocks away. Would love to see that story on History Channel http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif Good find BC.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
