I would also like to remind you that AC also sounded flawless when it was at the stage which PoP is in now.

Yes, I pop bubbles. ^_^

Every gamer knows that no game turns out the way it was publicized to be, yet still I think POP is going to be a very good game, with a very good possibility of taking over Assassin's Creed.

I'm going to invent the first game to actually turn out the way it was publicized.

Partly because I'm going to massively undersell it and when people pick the game up and play it, they're all going to say "this is totally better than all the reviews said it would be!" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

To tell the honest truth, I have a much better feeling about this game as opposed to AC.

Developing it isn't the same excessively difficult feat that AC was.

Simply because of the design of the game.
AC was too big of a leap forward, and while this PoP is also leaping forward, it isn't truly building upon new ground, it has tread this soil before, making all the more reliable.

Not to mention, the marketing for it is much more open.

Creed was secretive, we didn't get much news of how it was really going to be, and practically no news of what the story was going to be like. The opening scene with Desmond was a huge "what the..." for most of us.

Persia is being open already, revealing the story, the gameplay changes and upgrades, as well as the style that they kept and built upon.

Better publicity more often than not leads to a more informed decision by customers and reviewers, leads to better feedback on development, leads to a better game.

Creed was not secretive.

Desmond's role in it was, but it was far from secretive!

I can't remember a week in which they didn't release something somewhere Creed-related... >_>

That type of marketing worked well for Creed though. Secretive clan, secretive story, secretive marketing to an extent, overall good choice.

But Persia doesn't look to be all so tight-lipped, and I'm happy about that.

ConViction, on the other hand, knows how to not say a word. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif
