I restarted ACII today, and found a couple things I'd like to share, and get peoples opinions on.

The first of which is when you start the game, and have to follow Lucy to the Animus, and then out the door, I decided to try Eagle Vision just to see what would happen. In about 75% of the cases where I had it on (I couldn't keep in on during combat), she was blue. We already knew this would be the case. However, approximately 25% of the time, she was golden,... and having looked at the ground, there was a golden trail behind here, showing the path that she had taken. Thoughts?

Also, having replayed a few of the glyphs, I noticed something in the first one, and in how S16 first Introduces himself (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_zOv3eVMJE) (skip to 5:37 to see what I'm talking about). He starts of by saying "Hello this is... Er... they call me Subject 16." Does anyone else have Freudian slip running in the back of thier minds here, and jump to Erudito?

That trail could have been meant to tell players where to go in case they got lost.

I think when Lucy turns yellow that's to indicate that she's a target to follow. The same thing happens in the Animus when you're supposed to find someone in a crowd and then tail them. Good catch on the "er" thing. I've seen that mentioned before but had forgotten. Still not sure that 16 is Erudito though. Erudito is so playful and jokes a lot, whereas 16 is paranoid and pretty humorless given his current predicament.

How do you know what Erudito is? Maybe, if they are S16, that was how they were before the Animus?

I agree about her being yellow. I had never noticed it before though.

@Cham:

The trail wasn't that long, unfortunately. Only about five or so paces long.

I think the trail thing is more of a function of the game mechanics, for example in ACII when Rosa turns red, it is because she shoots an arrow at you and misses, intentionally. I am sure there is not other reason for it beyond that.

Golden mainly means person of interest. Could be an assassin target, could be someone you're just following.

As an example, in AC2 when you follow Maria with Alta´r, she is golden and has a golden trail. And in fact, for this very reason, I continuously tried to catch and kill her (and would have succeeded, but obviously the kill option was totally absent).

So if you're implying it means she is DEFINITELY an enemy or someone you will eventually kill, I would say this is not a reliable indicator http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Nope, just wanted to say that that was basically what I would've said if he hadn't said it.

Mah, don't worry about it. Poodle keeps making topics that are so similar but so many in quantity.

Plus he has some sort of vendetta against LightRay and Mika or something. I just see Poodle being a huge pain in the butt.

Some more proof of him just fooling around.. and not in the good way. http://forums.ubi.com/eve/foru...024/m/5551018049/p/1 (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5251069024/m/5551018049/p/1)

Also, I know I'm not actually contributing to the topic, but I'm pretty much only here to point out to Poodle that his behavior is pretty bad.

'sides, anything I would say has already been said on the topic matter.

And in Brotherhood, Erudito sends one e-mail to Desmond, giving him the passwords of the other three assassins. Pretty interesting find about the Er... stuff.

Or it could just mean "er". You never seen er used in a sentence with it meaning that the person who says it is reconsidering an action.

Someone is about to do something stupid so another person says:
I wouldnt do that if I were... Er... Nevermind go ahead

It seems Subject 16 is just reconsidering saying his real name. People use "er" in sentences sometimes as a kind of slang.

It was a little low today, thank you. It's much like a blood count,... to low, and you begin to feel faint.

Gold means either that they're a target, or that they need to be followed. Same thing with Maria in the AC2 bleeding effect dream.

S16 doesn't say Er, he says Ehh.

On the subject of Erudito though, I personally think that Erudito is Rebecca Crane.

This is a dialect barrier thing actually. You know how brits instead of saying "danger" they say "dangeh" or "danguh". When it is written "err", they pronounce it "ehh". But we, as Americans, pronounce err in that harsher way with the emphasis on the R rather than the E part. Ever wonder about the origin of the word other word for butt?

It comes from the more British-ier "arse" but with that English accent, it comes out as rhyming with glass, and then we started just spelling it that way.

Edit - Wow, didn't realize that three letter word was filtered.
