Reading the description on the Saitek site, I was interested until I got to the part about twisting the stick for yaw control. Am I the only one who likes having the rudder rocker on the throttle for the X36/X45?

It mentions "non-contact technology" for the X and Y axes, which I'm assuming means optical pickups for the stick intead of pots. That should last longer, though there might be a loss of accuracy compared to potentiometers.

Thanks for the news, guys. I'll have to see what the X52 is like when it hits stores.

when i went shopping for a stick I was specificly looking for a stick that did not twist. pedels offer so much better control. i do not see an advantage.

Gezz, I am never goining to buy a Saitek product until they get some new designers. Their sticks always look so cheesy http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/53.gif

Now they are going with glowing lights. Someone there must be a real Trekky!
