Doesn't say anything about 6600 GT.

The 6600 series have sm3.0 support too, but the frame rate hit will probably be too big. Most users around here with 6800gt's seem to prefer playing with water=2.0 (as any 5900,9800 would display) instead of that setting and benefit huge fps.

the 6800gt is going to be my next upgrade(from 4800sx with a 1000 RAMS) in preparation for BOB in july.It is almost half the price of the ULTRA!!!!!

Good Question! I have my eye on the 6600GT
PC-E. 200 dollars is a good deal I hear, BUT is it good for PF. My budget is'nt out for a 9800XT, and the PCI-E 6800GT is not out for sale; even though they have reviews out for it.

Kind of reminds me, PF aint out for sale..

Its sad how company's get us all jolly for a product..But never release them in the market for strategic moves.

No wonder people download PF for free.

Bottom line..Greed from a company = LOSS.

I have the 6800GT. I'm getting from 100 to 150% better framerates by using water set to 2 as opposed to 3. My frames drop to a low of 15 in the beaufighter track that comes w/the game (w/the water set to 3). I have an AMD64 3200, 1 gig of DDR 400 Corsair and 2xRaptors at Raid 0. Water at 3 is still too much for my rig.

PCI-E is no faster than 8x AGP at the moment, it'll be a while before it surpasses it so I wouldn't sweat the PCI-E stuff for a bit.
