I'm gradually becoming more interested in measuring the performance of aircraft in the simulation.

Tagert's excellent methodology for the analysis of rate of climb is transparent and comprehensible and provided the initial data is of quality produces incontrivertable results.

But how do you pilot test and analyse sustained turn, instantaneous turn, zoom climb, energy retention, diving et al in a manner that is as transparent and methodical as Tag's RoC tests?
