Discovery Wings (UK) are showing a number of short clips from Pacific Fighters (less than 10 secs) bracketing advertising breaks. They began 18:00 today.

Not sure if it's the same, but we've got Tom Skerritt on UK Discovery Wings hosting the 5 greatest American plames which I find kind of strange.

They's a '5 classic British planes' series coming up (Harry Enfield was doing the voice overs for the adverts).

I was a bit taken aback by the PF ads.
I nearly fell of my chair when I realised what they were, nice to see them! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The PF ads look VERY good btw and will no doubt bring in thousands more enthusiasts who otherwise would never have tried the Il2 series. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Please all accept my apologies for adding to the diversion of this topic. I had no intention of doing so and did try to get it back to discussing those nice little PF ad breaks. In order to keep it on topic I will not be posting ANY further points here as I have made myself pefectly clear, anyone who doesn't understand my comments please actually read them.

Fair enough Snoopy.

The simple fact that PF is being marketed with TV adds is pretty amazing and what makes me really happy is that it is being advertised on Discovery Wings and not Saturday morning cartoons. This should show that game/sim whiner crowd who UBI and Maddox are trying to reach for potential customers.
