Having trawled Ebay, you often find sellers offering selections of freely available add-ons, paint schemes, missions etc for a well known **other** flight sim.

What is your experience of this? How would you feel about a similar disk for IL-2 and would you pay for it? Have you bought one? Are there ones available?

Would be really interested in your feedback. Thank you.

Erm, if the stuff was made by the seller, it would "ok", but if it's just a sellection of stuff made by other users who put days of work on something that someone will sell is plain wrong.

Even if donation and full credit to original developers/sites (such as il2skins) was made? Would you still see this as some form of piracy?

Your going to run into someone whos going to go ballisic. The only safe way would be to "hire" your artists or only supply your own skins.

Someday, someone will be hurting for money, and remember you were making money off skins they designed. Next thing you know everything you made will be used to defend yourself.

People will lie, cheat, and steal to get your money.
trust me, I know..
