I haven't been able to find any extra skins anywhere for the King Cobra. Am I missing a source or will they soon start showing up on that great site, IL2skins? Thanks in advance for any reply!

The P-63C has not caught the attention of the masses the way the P-38 has, but don't worry, some skins are on the way. I asked the same thing a few days ago, and several people said "after I finish this skin for the P-38/TA-152/109Z, I'm thinking of doing a skin for the P-63C."

The P63C is the real sleeper success of AEP. It is incredibly effective against both air and ground targets. It's agile, once you get used to how to use it and learn not to put it into that unrecoverable flat spin. And that high-velocity 37mm cannon (with roughly 60 rounds) is AWESOME. Powerful enough to destroy bombers, accurate enough to destroy fighters. And when the fit hits the shan, it serves equally well for taking out light tanks and armored vehicles (where both accuracy and power are needed).

I love this plane.

Yes I love the P-63 too. It took me a while to get used to it...I kept on putting it into those wicked flat spins. If handled well, I think it can hold its own (and more) against anything, especially down low. Against inferior airplanes, I've noticed it doesn't hurt a bit to add those extra gunpods, either. The 37mm takes a long time to master! The .50s don't detract too much from the performance. Against more agile aircraft like the Las and Yaks however, the pods become a definite liability. I've noticed that you can be pretty violent initiating controls with this plane--it's coming out of a maneuver that takes more finesse. Overall, I'm also really enjoying the P-63. It's brutal and graceful at the same time. I'm looking forward to those skins too!
