I actually work as a warranty administrator for an aerospace company so I can render a professional opinion on this.

Warranty would be denied and the reason given would be "customer damage". Heh heh heh

I think that the warranty was invalidated the moment that C-stoff and Z-stoff were loaded together on the a/c. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

They used three different substances; main fuel was T-soff, concentred hydrogen peroxide, which first was ignited by a catalyst called Z-Stoff, made of calcium permanganate. Later they shifted Z-stoff for C-stoff, a mix of methanol and hydrazine hydrate that increasd the performance. Anyway, Hydrazine made the mixture highly unstable and its usage led to the Me-163's (in)famous landings, aka "land or blow".

how well did that thing fly after the nose went AWOL?

It vibrated a bit as we passed Mach 0.92, but otherwise it was fine. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I don't think it really affected anything, there was vibration in a high speed dive but, otherwise, it flew as normal. It LOOKS bad, but that's all. Of course having my guns shot off meant I couldn't stick around and play. Interesting DM though.
