I tried to do a search for a similar topic but came up empty.

We all know the logo has similarities to the Latin(Roman) alphanumerical symbol "A" But I just became aware of the striking similarity between the assassin's symbol/logo and the (eastern) Arabic and Persian symbol for 8, 7 when inverted.

7 :?
8: ?
I am wondering if this has any significance.

(I am aware our current numeric symbols are Arabic as well)

Persian empire predates ottoman empire by over 1000 years.

the numbers themselves originated around the same time frame.(of the Persian empire.)
