Cheers, much enjoyed!

The Lerche really does sound like a UFO, I didn't expect it to be "dancing round other fighters"!

Lerche vs Lerche comedy servers could be quite entertaining!

All the 406 stuff sounds brilliant.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Omg Ian you lucky swine!

I cant wait now.

I am itching to try out the N1K2

It sounds like it was an awesome fighter during WW2 :-

'Still fighting at a disadvantage to its foes, the Shinden KAI was demostrated its value as a fighter; one N1K2-J shot down four Hellcats and forced another eight to retire.'

Ian could you please confirm that the asymmetric recoil found in planes such as Wildcat, Hellcat, Corsair, and Mustang has been corrected?

I saw where an individual received an email from Oleg stating this has been fix in add on.

Thanks for the update. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The engine has been stretched to fit multi-engined bombers, aircraft that are linked (such as the Mistel and the TB-3/I-16 combinations), aircraft carriers, runway cratering, working searchlights, etc.

Hearing that the P-80 Gibbage submitted became the YP-80, a bit of a neutered version, gives me hope that at least the P-80 with dive brakes and better engine might be in 4.08.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I'm not really qualified to do so. For me it tends to mean pull a bit less at high speeds. I'll let a real pilot go into it when the add-on is out.

The numbers match Kaneyoshi Muto's February 1945 engagement. I can't remember the name of the F6F unit (maybe VF-88, not sure), but it was their first combat. Four Hellcats were lost, but Muto didn't do it all himself. He had his whole unit with him.

No way. Give me a mixed Lerche and He-162D Sqn and you'll see http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The Lerches will beat any jet to alt and can then force them into turns. And once they have to turn tight they are easy meat.

Sorry I'm not IB but I can field that one. If you sift through some old posts and updates over the previous year Oleg mentioned that one of the tweaks is that the joystick will much more accurately mimic a control stick. Instead of a 9 inch stick (no pun intended) on you desktop it will simulate the length and feel of real life flight controls better...

Basically what it all means its tons of whining by all the newbies with no real flight time in a taildragger that hate changes. Even if they are an improvement.
