It's interesting that all IAR80/81s were very nice planes as far as handling was concerned in 3.04 but now in 4.01 they are the most difficult handling fighters in the game IMO

The torque is extreme and they have lost all of their manoeuvrability - taking away one its few advantages in combat over contemporary planes http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

I know. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif
It was a shock when I took it up first time with 4.01. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif
This plane was systematically castrated from patch to patch. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
When it first came as flyable I was flying it regularly in dogfight servers against all the late monsters.
No it can hardly survive against early war planes. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

Couldn't agree more regarding the torque: it's absolutely ridiculous. 1:C has never sorted the armament out, either, despite numerous posts citing impeccable source material. IMHO, this is the worst-modeled a/c in the sim and a great disappointment to those of us who looked forward to this bird becoming flyable from the days of the original Il2 demo. If this sort of work had been done to the P51 or 190, all holy you-know-what would've broken loose.

I've given up trying to grab 1:C's attention to correct these issues. What we have is better than nothing, I suppose.

Nice flim clip, btw. Thanks for sharing.
