does anyone know i set up my netgear router so i can host on ubi.com, i can create games, but no one can join them,

But honestly hosting on UBI will limit your experience, instead try Hyperlobby (http://hyperfighter.sk/) where you will find 99.999% of the online IL2 community http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Check on portforward.com like posted by Troll2k.

Make sure the "modem" you have from your ISP (if any) does not have router functionality. Otherwise you need to portforward that modem to your router and then your router to your PC. Your ISP should be able to tell you if your modem has router functionality or not. Portforward 21000 UDP protocol. Also make sure port 21000 UDP is open in in both directions in ALL your firewalls, (PC software, modem/router
Best switch window's firewall off completely. It's the worst security you can imagine.
Ubi game service is not used anymore. Check Hyperlobby. Most players play Forgotten Battles 4.08m online, so you should also have that version.
