I don't think we have any official thread where any one of us could address questions that have not been brought up yet and everyone was able to join in and discuss. This relates specifically to what we know about AC2, and what we want to know. I'll start it off.

Q1. They say that there are around 130 different missions (main story) that we need to complete. Patrice said that some missions will turn from battle, to chase, to escort. Would that mean that that specific missions counts as 3 missions or just one?

Q2. Do you think Leonardo will be fully in view or will he be just a hidden figure with a voice?

Q3. What will happen if you throw money in the water and there are normal citizens around it? Will they jump in or ignore it?

Q4. With the economic system, there seems to be various types of armor including hard metal and leather armor that could be purchased. Does this mean that at some point in the game, it would be best to use the better-protecting armor full time and will it decrease your attributes like speed and maneuverability or are they simply just for looks and diversity?

Q5. Could you possibly hire thieves and mercenaries to fight one another or go after citizens or do they only work for specific enemies?

That's all I can think for now. Hopefully many of you have something to ask that you have been waiting for it to be answered, or at least be discussed.

Q1. He would be counting those 3 as just one mission, but I doubt he ever said 130 main missions. AC1 had 54 main missions, excluding assassinations, so if Patrice was counting each component (battle, chase) then he would be saying 390 missions, thats 8 times more story mission than AC1. Somehow I don't think your numbers are right.
I'd say its more likely the game has about 50 mission, each comprised of individual goals. Then a whole bunch of sidequests ontop of that.

Q2. No idea.

Q3. You can't throw money whenever you want, only near specific groups of people. You can see this when the player stands near these people a grid gets drawn on the floor. So no, you can't make people jump in the water for money.

Q4. The armor will likely only change how much health you have, and nothing more.

Q5. I'd say a very probably 'no' for making those two groups fight against each other. There's no reason for it. And if you attempted to make the mercenaries fight citizens, the citizens would flee and the guards would step in anyway.

Sypron, actually they did say it will have 130 main story missions. and apparently it took 27 hours for the testers to complete, and that was not including the secret locations.

I hope not, I hate stuff like that.

Q3. Maybe, Would be very funny to watch. Hope the NPCs can swim, otherwise Ezio must be the only swimmer in Venice.
Q4. In case you haven't seen it, there are some new videos of gameplay from TGS (in Venice again, but at night). In it you'll see that you buy armour from shops, but there is also an option to get it repaired. Another thing to note is that while purchasing armour, it says below the picture of the armour:
-health (presumably the higher health rating it has, the more hits Ezio can take)
-resistance (which I think is resistance to particular weapons maybe).
Whether it affects other things, I'm not sure.

Also, just an extra piece of info. You can use dyes to change the colour of your clothing (what the range of colours are and if there is an effect is unknown at the moment).

I started a thread similar to this several days ago. It was locked but a mod refered me to this thread (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5251069024/m/4001069287/p/1).

For a small fee, Ezio can hire a band of courtesans to accompany him around the city. While he's surrounded by these beautiful ladies, our hero is once again hidden from suspicious eyes. When you need a distraction, you can then send in the gals to flirt with a specific guard - an action that triggers some brilliantly expressive reactions from your target. Alternatively, you might want to hire a gang of thieves to lend a hand. These dastardly blaggards can fight alongside you, or cause a ruckus by robbing nearby civilians, drawing the attention of the local authorities . </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

This is from the newest hands-on preview. So I guess you can use thieves against civilians. Possible even mercenaries.

sorry for double post but replying to Sypron. in the pax demo, well the unofficial one, you can see patrice throw money even without the grid drawn so i think there is a possibility that you can throw money wherever you want.

In one of the interviews buddy said it would only effect Health and the amount of damage you take.

I've been wondering about this question for a while now and haven't been able to find any answers. Sorry if it has already been answered.

Q6. Will we be able to skip the cutscenes in AC2?

I do hope so cause after completing the story it just took forever to get to some action. And that was a real shame, cause in my opinion it is by far the best sword-fighting action ever! Easy to learn, hard to master. Just perfect!
Anyway, just look at how long it took me to enjoy a good swordfight;
-loading.
-game menu.
-loading.
-animus menu.
-loading.
-cutscene at beginning of memory-block.
-and then... you start in Masayaf!!! So you'll have to travel to (and load) another region before you can fight any enemy soldiers.
I don't mind the menu's and loading, but a cutscene of several minutes at the end of it... that's just too much, wouldn't you agree?

You can't skip cutscenes but theres a feature that makes the game save after a cutscene

They have said that it will affect your attributes...they did mention one armor might give you more hp....theyre are heavier armors and light armors....just depends on ur play style...
