I think they are just photoshops of real F4U-4's. Oleg already said there won't be any in the game so don't get your hopes up.

The scenery looks more like Warbirds III than Pacific Fighters.

Those are definitely F4U-4's but not from any game, they are photoshoped images of real Corsairs. In fact, these two Corsairs are civilian owned and currently flying in the U.S.

They are on the community screenshots page. It was submitted a couple of months ago, but I don't remember who did it.

Let's just say the photo is superfluous to Pacific Fighters.

If it isn't a genuine PF image I think it should be removed as it is missleading (false advertising - that sort of thing). Still it was nice to dream for a while.

Think they are post war. The background plane has a VF-42 on it indicating its a USN squadron not a USMC (VMF) squadron.

VF-42 "Green Pawns" flew F4U-4's from the CVB-42 FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT from Sep.13, 1948 - Jan.23, 1949. VF-42 was disestablished on Jun.8, 1950 a week or so before the Korean war started.

On the Roosevelts next cruise VF-61-62-62 were equipped with F8F-2's which were replaced with F9F-2 jets in Jan 1951.

CVB-42 served in the Med & North Atlantic during these times.

No questions they are post-war. The red stripe in the US national emblem is a post war modification.
