Kinda weird...Windows XP recognizes the Saitek USB AV8R...but PF won't.

Any ideas folks?

Steve has a point. If your Aviator is not recognized by your computer as Controller Number 1 (listed at the top of your game controllers' list in XP), it will not be the default joystick in the game, and you will have to go into the Controls menu for each 'pilot' you have listed and assign the axes and buttons 'by hand'.

There's a bit of a hierarchy, in my experience; a Microsoft controller will usually jump to the top, followed by CH Products, followed by Saitek on my computer, at least. I've not recently defiled my system with a Logitech, so I can't suggest where they would fit in the scale...

The Cougar takes priority on my list. I don't understand why XP won't let you assign the order.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
