I thought would it be cool to have a level editor in assassins creed, coz Iplayed some games with level editors and one of the best ones was the cryengine 2 sandbox 2. You can make yur own moddels like in 3ds max or something. And you can even make yur own cutscenes.

What sort of idea you thought would be cool for Assassins Creed ( plz no hot coffee mods http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif )

AC is extremely large-scale as it is. Making levels and cutscenes in editors would be extremely time-consuming. But that's just what I think. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

a level editor WOULD be cool for assassin's creed, but it just doesn't seem realistic as the other poster said. personally, what i think would be awesome, is if you wold be given the chance to have freedom of choice when making decisions ingame. kinda like how their doing with heavy rain, where you would be confronted with a choice, but depending on which you choose, determines the outcome of how the game is gonna turn out, but that's just me lol.

A response from Ubi in the PoP forum's when asked about a modding tool:

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content"> Many thanks for your email and for taking the time to write down your thoughts regarding our games and your ideas for them. Our teams here really do appreciate the energy that you put into the idea and your enthusiasm for our games. I will be sure to pass that message along.

However, I am sorry to inform you that our policy as a company is to keep our game engines private for our creative development teams. It's a complex decision based on many factors and I hope that you understand that a lot of thought went into the decision. We know that many fans do appreciate having access to the engine for modding and creating add-ons and we appreciate that. For Ubisoft, however, we prefer not to make those engines available for public use.

Thank you again for your email and for your understanding. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
