I've got a idea that would make a good alternatif to a multiplayer... I would be a kinda "out of story mission". I explain : it's a "mode" that générates a random map with some random objectif (target to kill). Like this when ur finish the story single player to can still have fun with some challenging random matche...

I a bit like in stratégie game (startcraft, warcraft, age of empire) you got the main story line + some "quick match vs computers". Anyway I would like to know what you guys think about this.

I don't quite understand what you mean but I think a good idea for multiplayer would be where there are about 8 people (more or less) in a game. The host picks a map, like usual, and depending on the size there will be 7 assassins and 1 target.

I have yet decided whether it will be a good idea to have less assassins and more targets. It could even be possible to have the "predator" type from Far Cry (with only a couple assassins and alot of targets).

It is the assassin's job to kill the target(s) and the target(s) can blend in with npc and can hide, etc. I don't know yet if the assassins should be able to kill each other or just simple work together to take out the target(s).

yup^

He means that the game randomly makes a match for you.. gives you a map.. targets to kill.. and no story at all.. just you and the targets... No online play but still a splitscreen feature..Just like terrorist-hunt in rainbowsix vegas..

Yeah.. I'd like that.. and some minigames!!

shoot the targets..

kill the fastest..

racing over there in the best most short possible time..

could be fun on the online scoreboard..

Sounds good but honestly don't see it happenin' but it'd be pretty sweet maybe not random maps just random targets

agreed, random maps would just prolong the release of the game even futher.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Maybe it could be something like 4 players split-screen, and you each get a list of targets. Then whoever has killed the most targets by the end of the round wins. The rounds could be timed or they keep going until somebody kills all the targets on their list. I'm just making this up so it probably won't happen, but it'd still be cool.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Yes. We here are cannibals. We want to kill the fattest NPC possible. Though I doubt there will be many fat people, other than maybe nobility, considering the time period and place.

Excellent ideas though. Perhaps in future AC games, Ubisoft will try to implement some type of multiplayer modes, be they co-op or not.

Yeah I think a co-op mode like the one for SCCT is the most appropiate for this game<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

There could be infiltration missions, where one team defends the area of interest while the other team tries to infiltrate. The defenders could have better equipment and be less agile while the infiltrators has less equipment but are more agile.

Or there could be assassination where one team protects an NPC while the other tries to kill the NPC.

Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and bag carrier(you score points by holding onto an item and staying alive and the other people needs to kill you in order to get the item and gain points).

I have an idear, how about a mode where there a few assassins on one team and a few bodyguards and the target on the other. The objective is for the assassins to get in and kill the target, interrogate, whatever, and the other team is to protect the target or VIP and try to eliminate the assassins if possible. Gewd idea? Nope, single player is having a hard time... the Multi is going fine : few minor bugs, many players and growing. Within few months it will probly be more popular then CT<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

WTF are you talking about, it isn't even in the top 15 most played online games! It is not growing it is dying. The lag is terrible, and the SP is short and stupid. You obviously have NO idea what you are talking about.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

this game is looking good hope it has live i would be happy with a massive online multi where you start run around a world alone and met other people in this online world choose if there friend and foes, start a clans, army control towns, land and stuff running around killing other people

ya i would like a game that is like oblivion where u get to meet other people while doin ur misiions like an MMORPG, but i would also like a multiplayer. I would have like 12 players be guards guarding a npc and 4 assasins workin together to kill the npc and get away

Well, an online game would be useless unless it's multiplayer. Assassins don't work in groups. They may have group "memberships", but when they perform their task, they do it solo. Those that do are called Navy Seals. Then in that case, go out and get Ghost Recon (which is pretty good too).

But I do like the idea of a randomly generated map and target! They could make a downloadable add-in that could randomly generate those features.
