Found out I had some un-used webspace and figured a web album generator+60 photo's was the quick way to fill that up!

Enjoy!
My Duxford VE day show pics (7th may) (http://home.quicknet.nl/qn/prive/jkoen/images/dux/album/duxford1klein/)

My plane ID-ing may not always be correct, so please post if you have corrections http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif And I made the subtitles for friends and collegues as well, so they are a bit n00bish sometimes. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

That Beaufighter looks a bit better than when I last saw it!

Great pics, love the one about the 1/2 ton engine!

You had sunny weather, lucky you! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
I've been there last october with a friend and it was cloudy and windy. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
But I managed to fly on the silver Tiger Moth, the one that lets you do some aerobatics!! Unforgettable!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

By the wasy, this afternoon I'm leaving for Paris, since tomorrow there will be the Ferté Allais air meeting! It looks interesting:
http://www.ferte-meeting.com

It is at the Cerny aérodrome south of Paris. Some Mustangs, Corsairs, Spits, Yak-3s, ecc, and even the Bf.109G!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks guys!

I've been to La Ferté Alais in 2003 and 2004, and it was a great show. Too bad in 2004 the WWI planes did not fly because of the wind, in 2003 there were a SPAD XIII and SE.5a in formation with 2x Hispano-Suiza V8 engines roaring... magnificent!

The Bf 109 was there last year too, but did not fly as well due to the crosswind and it's narrow undercarriage. I *knew* FW 190 was a better plane and now it's confirmed http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Too bad I can't go this year, would love to see a 109 in flight. The B-17 is fun as well.
The charme of this show is also, that the planes are started several metres in front of you, giving you the chance to really look, feel and smell them!

Have fun!

The weather was quite variable at Duxford, I've seen sun, rain, hail and VERY dark thunderclouds!

Sry for clumsy pic. A pic with Beau cockpit there failed totally http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif And I do not blame the camera http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Cool! This has turned into 'Beau update thread' http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Does anyone have even older photo's? Just curious!

You can have a compare to rest of pics from Duxford at 2004 http://personal.inet.fi/kerho/prkl/ENG_1280_1024.html.
Select Pics up there and then Restoration Hanger from list.

Boxmike, nice photo's!

Alstiff, yes, the Vulcan is very cool! There was a booth at the show to collect donations and sell stuff for the foundation to get one in the air again. Hope they succeed, I did my part! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
