Or we could go to the manliest game of them all: Grid Iron.

Where the men are so manly they need to wear more body armour than St George the Dragon Killer just to get on a field and stare at each other for 15 minutes http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Do yourself a favour and play a game of rugby league, ya sissies http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

I'll bet anything you like that Australia ends up with a 220 run lead, puts England in to bat with one days play remaining and bowls them all out for 89 therefore retaining the ashes!!

You heard it here first from me!

how did i know somebody was going to bring up rugby. iv seen your pro rugby. the men are half the size of US pro foot ball players and hit half as hard. heck iv played full contact football with no pads and im 6ft 240lb's. no biggy but when you are as big and strong as prof football players you would not last a sesone with out pads and a helmet much less a carrer. a rugby player would have every bone in his body broke and look like a pancake in one game of PFB. like compairing a game of TAG to a midevil jost LOL http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

You forget that our Guys have to run flat out for 2x40min halfs, I dont think a grid iron player could last 10 min in a rugby game they are just to big and slow. And as for crushing our guys well they would have to catch them first http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It's a pity a thread about the friendly (if intense) rivalry between two great nations has to get hijacked by the 'we are more manly, your game is for pansies' type of rubbish that we see here.

Cricket is a great game played by many countries of the world. All cricket fans are patriotic when it comes to internationals of course, but the love of the game is at the bottom of it all.

I know I could sit down with HotelBushRanger and have a laugh and a drink and be united by our enjoyment of one of the most complex and subtle 'stick and ball' games in the world.

As for who's the 'hardest' or the 'biggest', well that's just a load of old cojones. When a bowler like Flintoff or Lee is firing a solid leather ball at 90 miles per hour, straight at your only-partially protected body, then you might reconsider your evaluation.

Hey, I'm really looking forward to the fifth test http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif May the best team win, may the umpires get new glasses, and I hope the cleaner is already dusting the trophy cabinet back at Lords http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

However, our batters will be gettin nothing more than a kick up the @rse when they get back! What's wrong with em?!?!
