My daughter has a Toshiba Satellite A70 notebook PC. The display is one of those bright, glasslike faces, very gorgeous to look at. She somehow managed to get a scratch on it, about an inch and a half in length, which has left a gouge in the display face. There are no dead pixels, just this annoying scratch. Does anybody know of a way to repair the scratch?

Are they really glass, or plastic ? I use something called Liquid Lustre(A car polish), but works great on glass, plastic, chrome, and suede tennis shoes. As Pat Moreta(spelling) used to say, "Wax On....Wax Off"

Well, maybe one of those products designed to remove scratches from an iPod's plastic and metal surfaces may help? > More info (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/ipod/review/radtech-ice-creme-version-1-scratch-remover/)

Or you could try Vaseline! I'm only suggesting this because of an article I found:

I'd be amazed if it worked!
