I seem to only have warm sunny calm seas. I haven't noticed too much variation or any variation for that matter while out on patrol in the campaign.

If you have encountered rough seas, what are they like? Post some screenies if you can.

I am interested in this, because I want to make sure the weather system is working and that too isn't bugged.

Thanks,

ThornNRazor

I've encountered both rough seas and the dreaded SHIII rain storms that last for two weeks. The one I was in last night lasted only for 8 days, so I guess I was lucky. Sorry, I didn't take any screenies, will tonight if I get the chance.

Cool! Thanks Tambor!

I was beginning to worry that SH4 had the opposite effect of SHIII in regards to the weather. In SHIII it was non-stop rain and rough seas, now it seems to be non-stop perfect days. I wonder how much time compression effects this now?

Hi guys
I have had a bit of both with some lovely moons breaking through storm clouds. but have you guys looked up through the torpedo hole in the side of the ships...its great, pipes and floors fire deep, inside the hull

you got sunny weather?

i think the admiralty hates me i always get sent into storms and fog....so far in my career 11 patrols i have never been able to say i could use my torps because i can't get far enough from a ship without losing sight of it...i average 6 merchants a patrol using my deck gun...other than that my torps are for show...

My biggest gripe is the clouds moving at about 5000 miles per hour. Other than that, the weather is pretty nice

I don't have any screenies in my gallery of really bad weather as their is nothing to see but the instruments...

I've had it all.....typhoons to glass smooth seas. Rain so heavy you cannot see the instruments on the bridge to picture perfect Hawaiian sunsets. Weather works all right. You can take that to the bank.

I posted about this a couple of weeks ago, both here and at SubSim. I sailed clear from Pearl to the Japanese coast with nothing more then some clouds and a slightly sloppy sea.

Took a while, but finally saw rough seas and rain.Give it a chance.
