Does anyone knows some VVS squadron planeset thru the war (1941-45)? I plan to start new VVS fighter career and I'd like it to be as historical accurate as possible. Any help appreciated. Maybe some links on the net? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Lots of links on that page, don't know if anything of use to you there.

Site looks interesting but it's in Russian.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for input mates... I have found one page that looks promising but it would be difficult to assemble some kind of historical planeset for specific VVS squadron. I must search those links Low_Flyer... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Also the fact that VVS units have often changed designation during the war, makes search and assembling planeset more difficult.(some of them were given Guards status due to their combat successes, some were simple designated differently like 44 IAP which became 11 GvIAP in march 1942. That specific unit flew LaGG-3s, LA-5s and even Spitfires MK.9).

This one could be helpful also
