Here's what I'm wondering: If France wins the world cup, how long does that delay Il2:SOM? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

No, Pumpernickel is some sort of nearly sweet bread which only has a (artificial) dark colour... IMHO the taste is horrible. Schwarzbrot is mostly made of rye flour, milled including the shell and sometimes with whole grains in it (Vollkornbrot). You have to check it out with cheese or a raw sausage like mettwurst or salami...

I'm all for the Baguette, but you can't beat Jewish Rye.

Go to true Italian bakeries: you'll find there are HUNDREDS different kinds of bread, and they are fantastic for the most.*
Baguettes are not bad at all by the way.

* Bread in fact IS ITALAIN as pizza and pasta are. (And risotto, ice cream, a few other hundred things among the very best we can find on a table...) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
