For a split second at the end of the latest Assassin's Creed trailer, a chemical formula appears. That seems very out of place in a game set before chemistry didn't even exist as a science.

The formula appears at 1 minutes and 39 seconds into the trailer.

I took a screenshot of the chemical image. I can be viewed here: http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/4527/screedformularj7.jpg

That formula has been brought up before, I believe people (who know what they're talking about) on this board discarted it as impossible.

It's quite interesting to see it return though..

no, to quote futurama "thats what being a magical elf is all about" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif but seriously that molecule wouldn't ever form - it's just to hint to people as to what the big twist in assassins creed is meant to be. i suppose it could be possible that they've drawn the hydrogen bonds etc as covalent bonds but i'm not psychic and can't say. it definitely looks like its meant to be genetic though judging by the fact its made up of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen & hydrogen, so basically the genetic memory theory seems pretty likely (especially as the latest interview has them specifically say it has nothing to do with time travel or a matrix type thing)
