I read this on eurogamer is it true "The big old secret underpinning Assassin's Creed is that Altair, hay bounding assassin, is actually a 40-something American scientist, trapped in the past, leaping from life to life, putting things right that once went wrong, and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home." plz tell me its BS cause I dont want to know spoilers their wasnt a warning either they are slow. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

im not trying to be funny but my grandma can think up a better storyline than that http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
if thats true its a big let down and it will almost completely ruin the storyline of the game

It has some points:
Altair sounds American.
He`s trying to change history,Doesn`t bother listening to master.
But it`s wrong in some points:
Ther`s no timetravel.
Why is Desmond there?
So we have to wait and see...(or steal a copy and play it to death)

i think someone is just making fun of this old show, Quantum Leap:
Quantum Leap is an American science fiction television series that ran for 96 episodes from March 1989 to May 1993 on the NBC network.

The plot involved scientist Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) leaping to various points in time, usually constrained within the period of his own lifetime.

The show, which crosses a number of themes, including science fiction, family drama, comedy, social commentary, and nostalgia, won a broad range of fans. Sam occasionally has minor encounters with celebrities such as Buddy Holly and Michael Jackson as youths, helping to inspire their eventual fame (an example of a type of predestination paradox).

One of the series' most popular elements was that at the end of every episode Sam would leap into the next person, giving viewers a teaser of the following episode's installment. As part of a running gag, Sam would leap, and in awe of his new surroundings / circumstances would utter the catch phrase "Oh boy!"
