Ya know, i've been thinking.

When you start cammanding your army, maybe they will have you hit <LB> and hold it to select a camand.

Almost like in AC II where you hold <RB> to select weapons.

I mean, like you hold <LB> to bring up the same kind of screen as <RB> then have the the pointer piece point to the symbal with the bow and arrow to have them take out the archers.

To introduce how, they might have where about the third or fourth mission the tutorial might come up when doing a mission where you have to camand them to kill an archer or too.

All I want to know is, how will it work out? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

For now, nobody knows how will the B.A.M work.

B.A.M is the initials for "Brotherhood Assist Move".

Welcome to the forums Desmond! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

By the way, the word is spelled "command" and not "cammand" http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Yeah no one knows yet how the whole thing is going to work out. I'm guessing the D-pad will be used for all that, and in the BAMs they will be doing scripted actions.

@Prim - That is HIGHLY unlikely! The D-pad will still be for the quick selection!

But i personally think they'll ditch the Contexual View AC2 had and replace it with the BAM move!

I've been wondering myself, how exactly they plan on doing it...

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content"> During each mission there are assassins in the shadows and they are available on call - you use the 'L1' button for context sensitive commands. say you're in a fight, and you need help, you can have the best fighter come to your aid by tapping 'L1'. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

That quote from PSM3 doesn't really give much away. What exactly do they mean by context sensitive commands?

I get the concept but we need specifics here Ubi http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

It think what it means is that i'll open an new inventory thing like the weapons. Maybe i'll let you choose who you want to come to fight or something.

context sensitive usually means what happens is situational, the effect is determined by what the character is doing at the time they press the button, here is a fairly good visual example.

I was hoping this would be how it works.

lock onto gaurd on roof. press button. arrow kills gaurd.

lock onto gaurd on ground. press button. assassin emerges and ninjas him in the face.

ect.

Yeah true, but i bet you can also select (if they have an intentory thing) whether or not it's silent! Maybe a quick push (seeing as it's the bumpers) will be assault and a slow push will be stealthy/ranged!
