Well I dont have that exact setup, I do have the Creative X-FI Extreme and a set of Sennheiser PC 150s. And let me tell ya that the difference from my old Audigy and cheap headset is night and day. I absolutely love them. Even my woman noticed a distinct difference when listening to music and thats saying something right there. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif The X-FI even made my old cheap set of Creative 5.1s sound good.

I dont know if I would drop the cash for the Fatality version even though it as onboard additional memory. But if you do I quite certain you will be satisfied with your purchase.

Also the software package including drivers for the X-FI series are excellent.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

running an X-Fi music with zalman 5:1 headphones.
not sure if the onboard ram is worth it, and it appears out of stock http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

personally i'd look at this:-

v. good price!
and choose your own headphones, maybe these?

i'm sure you'll be happy with either

Thanks for your reply, I 'm going to go for that cheaper X-Fi Extreme option.
I already have those 5.1 Medusa Headset. It's great, but the only complaint I have about it is that it is too bulky, especially when also wearing a TrackIR hat. What I need is a more lightweight 5.1 headset that does the same job as the medusa .<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
