I think the implementation of kamikaze attacks would be quite nice. Flying a plane trough the fighter protection of a carrier group and then managing to penetrate it's flak barrier to home on the big one would be quite a challenging flight.
Moreover, since oleg is now quite experienced in simming "mother and son" planes having some Bettys able to drop the Ohka rocket plane would be great.

Anyway i'd like to see a map with japan itself and a campaign on the last defence, with the now outnumbered and outgunned japanese fighters on their last stand against wave after wave of B-29's... Again a quite challenging environment.

I think only part of Japan Main Land like Okinawa, Iwo Jiwa etc. The most Himosima and other city (forget the name) if we have A-bomb carry by B-29.

It would be a blast (no pun intended). On the American side it could be an awesome challenge. Imagine in a high pursuit Corsair flying just as desperate to intercept.

Kamikaze is best left to the AI

I really hope there will be no a-bomb.
It's quite useless from the simmer's point of view, since the missions were carried out without any kind of fighting in it.
I'm not interested in FS2004 kind of flights, not in a combat sim at least.
With final defence/attack of japan i meant conventional dogfights between the last remains of the japanese air forces and american superior firepower. After all it would be the only realistic environemt to fly the late war japanese fighters, like the Raiden and so forth.
One last (but not least) reason why i would like to see it, is that the japanese mainland is a beautiful environment to fly on, and would make a nice break over the tons and tons of water we'll see in PF.
I wonder why kamikaze attacks should be best left to the AI, even if i look into the matter i really can't see any particular reason for it.

Hmm that'd be wierd, crashing and then seeing a MISSION SUCESS sign insted of a MISSION FAILED sign. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif
