View Full Version : The lame and the irritating

I'm talking about things that reduce the games enjoyment.

I'll start, mistrals and box carriers!, how could anyone think these add enjoyment to the game?, if a mistral approached me in real life that way he would get two warnings, the first being verbal, the second will probably see him with a bloody nose.

The box carriers, come on devs!, programming them to deliberatly cross your path?, how lame, could you not let such a thing be a random event?, then again maybe your the sadistic type who just loves winding people up.

The camera system is also lame, nuff said.

Who is next?

What's so bad about the camera? Saying it sucks isn't 'nuff'! What's so bad about it? I like it seeing as you can control it, unlike other games where you can hardly see your enemies because of the crappy camera

In AC1 there was real purpose to the beggar woman, even though they got on my nerves, I did not feel it was out of place, the hindering NPCs in AC2 is overdone in my opinion.

I'd say the psychotic homeless dudes in AC are waaaaaaaaay more annoying than the Minstrels and Box Carriers combined, they actually pushed you over.

All you have to do is barge into the minstrels and open hand passed the box carriers... worst comes to worst you can just stand still until they walk past you. For example the mission where you're carrying the Apple to Rodrigo Borgia for the first time in Venice, there's about 2 dozen of them as you make your way to the meeting point but if you stand still when they're near you the majority of the time they avoid you.

Anyway, who really spends enough time running about in the streets for this to be a big deal :P

They're just trying to make some money, don't be too harsh on the fellas.

Wrong homeless persons, I think. He's talking about the drooling ******s that stand in alleys for no particular reason, wearing only a loin cloth.

I dismissed them as BLOODY ANNOYING ******S http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

But they are the only character i find annoying. I don't mind the minstrels seeing as they have pretty good music and are easy to ward off and the box carriers i just move away from. Plus, what they say in AC2 when they drop their stuff is funny http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif

The Minstrels lyrics can be pretty damn funny sometimes too

Lol, I always thought the drooling ******s were leftovers from Garnier's experiments.....

The most annoying thing about Assassin's Creed II (at first, only) were the Agiles. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

Don't forget the fact that we can't replay missions, that's also irritating.

Actually, for the people who are saying the beggars don't do anything... they beg, then if nothing happens they shove you after a while, and if you climb a wall or building nearby a beggar they will do the same as a guard chasing you, they'll pick up a rock and chuck it at you. If you don't believe me then get on AC1 go to the city with all of the dead bodies in the front of the entrance then find a beggar, climb up a building, and wait on the side of the building, soon you will have a rock throwing beggar on your hands.

Exactly what my point was revolving around.

I mean, don't we want to be able to fly the flying machine again? Or save Rosa in that high-paced escort mission? Or infiltrate Rome again?
Yes, we do.
So, why didn't they add it?

El_Sjietah

Especially the Rome bit. My main reason for replaying the entire game time after time, is so I can get to Rome and maybe spot something interesting I didn't spot before.
