Hmm??? I wonder who let it out.

I posted them in This thread (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=23110283&m=818102454) already just minutes before Ivan made this one. LOL


But Olegs a brite boy may have figured it out on his own. I have had them privately posted just like those on my Squadforum since Febuary. They make you turn faster and smoother for sure. With little to no shudder.

Tully posted along time ago Here (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=49310655&m=608101321) about those settings being a carry over from IL2 so I thought I'd try them. Made a world of difference in flight.

I think My Aim is problem is my stick. I really wish I'd of come around sooner and landed one of those Micro FFB sticks that Bearcat raves about, when they were still on the shelf.

I don't know how many times I've heard FM stinks about this or that but no one ever offers offers up their stick settings while complaining. Stick settings make a world of difference on FM Its nice we can adjust to our styles but it might of been more fair all around to of made us all use the same settings. Then we could really complain hehehe

thanks for that. I'd always wondered what was stopping me from becoming an ace (I even have a monoborw now but it didn't help) - is that for conf.ini?

Could someone explain what those variables mean please? (In rough detail so I can understand what one group of settings does relative to another).

I have CH Combatstick thingy - would those settings need to be adjusted from one stick to another?

Text copied from any application that uses "non-printed" formatting characters (MSWord, Lotus123, WordPerfect, etc) will cause that error. Either type directly into the "Reply" box or save & close in Notepad in "Text only" format before copy/pasting to the forum.

If all else fails, copy/paste to the "Quick Reply" box (the yellow folder icon immediately right of the Reply button) instead of the Reply box.

I have the first part already in my config but not the numbers listed above. Are those controller specic? I have a MS FFB stick.

Does anybody else have problems with gunnery? I am real happy with the flying qualities of the sim, but man does the sight waffle when I try to track and lead a target. I know a lot of it is airspeed, attitude, and aircraft dependent, but it is near impossible to track a target sometimes. I have noticed with the hurricane, a steady gun platform, that it waffles very little compared to the B-239 which seems all over the place. I have a MSFFB2 and use settings somebody posted months ago (from Oleg the poster said).

Should I adjust my settings, is this purely a sim functionality programmed in to mimic real life, or am I a ham-fisted porky pig?

for stick 1, FB & AEP starts at 1X, 1Y, 1Z, ...

stick 2 starts at 1X1, 1Y1, 1Z1, ...

stick 3 at 1X2, 1Y2, ...

Dang Horn that looks like very touchy settings, you must fly with a very soft grip? I used to fly 100 all the waqy across till i figured out how to adjust the config file.

Yes maybe but, I can only maintain control of the fight till I get injured either by my target or his wingman. I need to get them down and move on ASAP MY 1v1 as you know is not a problem since I have all the time in the world.

those settings i posted were the ones from the original post.

i use to use something similar back when i used a logitech wingman, which had a short throw.

when i changed to a CH fighterstick quite a few months back, it seemed way to slow with the much larger throw the new stick had. been using 100 all the way across for that stick.

Copperhead...my settings are very close to Olegs. I use a MS FFB2 stick but I used it on my X45 too. I would think that tehy would work maybe with some tweaking on any stick.

How do I get the shift key on my sidewinder pro stick to work? It's seen as a normal button (number 9) but does not work in combination with other keys. JaVA_Hornet seems to have the same stick - do you have a problem with it?

perhaps oleg should lock those settings as max 100 100 100 100 to give the game a smoother realistic feel and none of us stick stirring 100 100 100 100 100 down the line people can use the arcadish looking movement as such an advantage anymore.

That and dulling down forward stick pressure making it different then back stick pressure would help alot in realistic movement of aircraft online.

Then the realistic trim speed would be nice again.

It reminds me years ago, my nephew get pissed and throw his controller on the ground because I kick his butt on John Madden same applies here.

I was ace before i got a stick and still am
its the player not the stick.

If you are surrounded and get shot down you didn't pay attention not to jump after the first plane you give away your position.

Its common sense of flying and if I'm out numbered fly under bridges or mountains usually they crash from low altitude.

Rolling in a spin not giving them an easy shot
flaps raised to lift you higher, wap speed
constantly moving.

I was at Midway outnumbered 40 to 1 out flew them all shot 80% down, chase the rest down killed them at their air craft carriers.

I set the computer to ace and still win.
being alone and outnumbered is fun u love my Pearl Mission, your at wheeler 85 planes go after your *** and they are bombing wheeler.

I took some out high tailed it to pearl to help save some ships.

So don't try to be a hero do what u can and get the hell out of dodge!

The planes in 1946 see better than the previous game.

I'm lucky since I;m able to buy the game here back at home you cant thank God I live in south east asia.

I wonder whats the next game 1950 Korean war?

Seems unfair how u can fly a Russian bomber but not American bomber....I sense he doesn't like America very much.

I mean to see what people use in stick settings.
I bought a stick only for online use
offline use keyboard.

You get these high settings wind,engines blowing up, etc on online so I need some advantage.
I tried several stick settings has improved.

This is what I have:

Pitch 69 stepped up to 84
Roll 100 across the board
yaw 100 across the board

Works great on my Saitek. I was told I was an a-hole for using this set up. I limit my pitch so limit my plane. If my plane starts to shake and rattle at 85 pitch, why have it at 85 or more? The plan can not do any better....and I don't care how long I "practice" as many said. Pitch to 100 on the last slider does not work for me.
