I've just noticed it 2 times now, but there seems to be a pingkick function in FB. I just was on RCAF_FB Server and got some messages that my ping (xxx) was higher than allowed (400). After 3 warnings I could read a really silly message that said I didn't move and then I got kicked. That came directly over the server messages, no FBD or such. I'm just wondering... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/354.gif

Yep warclouds is one of the servers that uses it, it kicks players ,ping goes to a certain high number I guess and warning is given ,2n warning,3rd then kicked from server,but its not new for sure,I'm guessing its a server related option.

I think it's a feature of FBDaemon2 (http://www.greatergreen.com/il2/fbd2/), not of FB/PF.

A combo of these settings could accompish a very similar thing...

[MaxLag]
farMaxLagTime=3.0
nearMaxLagTime=0.5
cheaterWarningDelay=3.0
cheaterWarningNum=3

When I host this tends to eject people with pings higher than 500, gives them three chances to get it under and 3 seconds between measures just in case they just had a bad spike. These are documented in the manual. You can ID specifically who is lagging by changing your i18n/netmessages.properties file so that the lines reading:

user_cheating1 Cheating has been detected!
user_cheating2 Cheating has been detected!
user_cheating3 Cheating has been detected!

are changed to:

user_cheating1 {0} Lag has been detected!
user_cheating2 {0} more lag has been detected!
user_cheating3 {0} 3rd time is the charm on lag!

I do this in any case so that I know who is lagging and because I hate the default cheat accusation. Some people just have bad connections and shouldn't be labelled cheaters.

Don't run FBDaemon so can't rule out they did something as well.

Its is an IL2/PF Console Command. As with any other console command you can enter it into your RCU or server.cmd files.

maxping xxxx DELAY x WARNINGS x

Yeah, found it now with help command in the server software. But it's not in any readme http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
