Hey all,

I'm new to these forums, so pardon me if the following already has been asked. I tried the searchfunction, but the outcomes weren't satisfying http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I know the genre of AC will be Action/Adventure with stealth elements added to it. However, I was wondering, are there also some RPG elements added? Rumors has it one can live in a house, but can one also change it's gear? For example, can one choose it's own weapons or even costumes?

I hope to hear from you soon and just want add that I really can't wait for this game to be launched... o yeah, one last thing: to use an understatement, doesn't Jade look incredibly attractive?! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

Ciao all

Yeah I heard Jade mention new outfits and stuff in one of her interviews. She also said something about leveling up, not really sure what she ment tho.

That sounds like there are some RPG elements. It would be great if you could choose your own sword or crossbow before each assassination.

There was something else bugging my mind. Does anyone know if it is possible to enter buildings? For example, climb on a roof, enter it via the window, exit it trough the front door? Would be pritty cool http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

basically we don't know if you can go inside all the buildings yet but it has been hinted (slightly) that it may be possible, to paraphrase Jade "why should you be allowed to go in some doors but not others". it has also been mentioned that the levelling up in AC will involve unlocking new weapons and even new outfits i believe.

I'd be willing to bet he gets stronger, and is able to block for more extended periods of time, and that his skill with Parkour increases the more you use it, allowing gameplay to stay varied.

But that's just a guess. Additional costumes could be fun. For a game this serious, it would be interesting to have an unlockable Jesus/Mohammad (well, maybe not...)/Fish/Woman costume.

i dont think there will be a level up systems like in Oblivion or something, i think that as you play through the game you get to use new weapons or do new moves. Cuz level up would require a like "100 XP for killing a guard" or alot more for killing the target, which i dont think is in this more or less realistic game.

I could imagine that they include some sort of 'learning proces', meaning that you can't make some moves imidiatly the moment you start playing the game. For instance, do you think you can imidiatly make the 'leap of faith', or do you think this is something you will learn along the way?

PS. how do you write imidiatyl? Sorry, I'm to lazy to grab a dictionary... :P

Yes there will be side quests. They're mostly to get the crowd to want to help you out. Yes to the costume thing as well.

So many possibilities for jokes but i'm gonna try and stay mature... Man it's hard to do...

'so many possibilities for jokes...'? Hmm, I don't get that one, I guess I'm not funny enough...

Anyhoo, hearing all this information about side-quests and stuff does make it sound like AC will have strong RPG elements in it. Eventhough a upgrading system is probably out of the question, some sort of learning proces will be incorporated I reckon.

WOW, can't wait for this game to come out! To bad we still have to wait for many months though... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

You can't think of any jokes involving Jade talking about different outfits? I know I can. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Jade has mentioned that you can level up and i think leveling up will get you more stamina so you can block more or keep up a fight longer.

I seem to recall (maybe in the developer diary thingies) them talking about deciding when you should gain access to certain moves, so I think, despite already being a master assassin before the game starts, you will still gain some new moves as the game progresses

well seeing as you start at the bottom of the ranks again wouldnt it be cool if you start out with some crappy iron sword and frayed, dull robes and as you complete missions, mabey they give better equipment to higher members, shinyer robes, sharper swords, etc

It does seem like an RPG in the respect that you can get new equipment and gear/clothes. I think you may be able to advance within the cult that you are a part of. But i think that it will be more like a Hitman type thing where you can go to your hideout and change gear and its not a "okay, i can carry 125 lbs. and i am 4lbs. over-encumbered, what do i have to drop" like in oblivion and other RPG's. For that matter i don't even think that there will be an inventory menu. don't you think that would take away from the realism?
