Hello good people - my TrackIR2 arrived on my doorstep today and I was wondering if the FB profile is worth using. Does anyone have a good profile for download anywhere. Advice please.

P4 2.8Ghz
1024 MB DDR RAM
ATI RADEON 9700 Pro 128 MB
60G HD
Win XP HE
Audigy 2
Saitek X45

You can find a few IL2 profiles on the NaturalPoint site.

I customised my own, but they may not suit all.

best thing is to just have a play with it and find the right settings for you.

Hello, tonedogbf110 is correct. I've just gotten my unit yesterday. I found out that what works for some people may not work for other people.

Distance from the camera, type of headgear and even size of the monitor makes a difference.

I'm still adjusting my to my liking. So far for beginners like me, I found out that a generous amount of deadzone is a neccessity. I'll give it a week to get used to if not I'm going back to my mouse view on a hat system

Mine should be here any time also. Tracked it with UPS and its on the delivery truck so just waiting.

Got mine the other day and been messing with it since. Can't really tell the difference in some of the settings. Also, it gets really annoying as I have to keep recentering my view in flight.
