Hi all. I made some modding work in the ubi.com folder, and now it doesn't work http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

And it won't let me reinstall it after i've deleted/uninstalled it. Could anyone upload the ubi.com folder somewhere for me?

In add remove programmes delete the UBI COM if you still can then on your pc where the game is situated physically delete the remaining UBI COM folder.............. DO NOT DELETE / REMOVE THE GAME folder in either

Then go here download the latest version of UBICOM and run it, it will put the latest version back on your PC

You will need to uninstall ubi.com from your computer as said above and then download the latest version of the ubi.com program at http://gamingzone.ubisoft.com/packages/GameService.exe

JOB DONE......... BTW often if ubicom will not start it is to do with the GS4.exe not shutting down correctly, if you get it again press CTRL ALT DELETE all together look in processes running and if GS4.exe is still running shut it down (END TASK) and retry, chances are it will restart ok..............

You may need to clear your PC's registry of remaining Ubi litter before it realises u want to reinstall.

did it work ok? the secret was in deleting the folder, simply deleting it from add remove programmes triggers the it is still installed message and does not allow you to replace it.....
