I noticed that in this beautiful game full of historical research there is a map of modern Europe.

When you have a co-op mission for you Assassins you have avaliable missions in different cities in Europe. But the map with borders around it is Europe 2010. Like WTF? How can the developers set that kind of map when the year in game is 1503. Its really unexplainable.

I think this is since the original AC 2.

That's not the map that the Assassins actually used. That's just the Animus (and subsequently UbiSoft) making it more recognizable to us.

The real map that Ezio and the Assassins use is this: http://cloud.steampowered.com/...B38518DA5870E22DF48/ (http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/612714390002992092/C14C7F7F2AC08346C3F3BB38518DA5870E22DF48/)

I suppose it's on the table where the pigeon cage is in the hideout.

It's in the hideout, behind Ezio's desk.

P.S. In ACR, you'll be able to interact with Ezio's desk to study Altiar's seals. I think that's the way you'll be able to replay them in the game.
