Hi,

After looking at http://www.zenoswarbirdvideos.com/
I'm looking for a spitfire video documentation of "how to fly" the spitfire or similar. Better if it's docs from the forties, but also welcome if it's today film on real spitfires.

Anybody knows some DVD?

Tx!!

I was in a bookshop called 'Waterstones' here in the UK a couple of days ago,and they actually have 'pilots notes' of the Spitfire (and Lancaster i believe).Obviously reprints but they were little blue books and looked realistic.

~S~

You can order pilot notes for all sorts of spitfires and many other aircraft in the same series mentioned by Uther. The company has a website here: http://www.crecy.co.uk/

They are re-prints (but facsimiles) of the original pilots notes for the aircraft. Lovely little books - you're bound to find some useful info: engine settings for cruise, take-off, various procedures,e tc.

They cost about 5
