Hi

I have a Saitec ST 290 PRO.

Is anybody flying with this stick as well?
it seems to me that this stick is not the
best choice.

Very hard and I feel I am dancing like crazy
why I try to line an shoots.

Even following bombers It seems like I am moving
like on ice. ...

I am considering buying pedals because obviously that is a better deal than using the z axis of the stick.

any comments?

I got a Saitek Aviator and Saitek rudder pedals and it´s good, for me.Sticks is a personal matter of taste i guess.
The first thing I did notice when I got my rudders that they improved my gunnery a bit when groundpounding. You get a more exact movement than with the wrist handle.

Maybe a tuning in the inputs could dampen you "iceing" feeling a bit

I just took off 5 from default setting, like 10 to 5 and so on ,leaving the last on 100.Smoothing things out a bit.

I have the same problem, but my stick is very old, so it's all over the place. You should try adjusting the input settings in the hardware setup. Try Oleg's settings (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=23110283&m=197100554). If your still jumping around like crazy, try setting the filter to a higher value. It helped a bit for me, but still isn't enough. Man... I need a new stick... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif
