I just bought PF and a joystick; 70$! and i want to know how to get where the servers are. I dont have the expansion pack so using hyperobby is out of the question. I guess the only way to play online with PF is the multiplayer option in the main nmenu of the game. So when i click on this my port is " :2100 ", defult IP and i click join but it says " please wait " to long; 5 min, so i just give up. Can somone help me find a way to fight with other PF pilots online please?

Guys, he asked how to play online. Do not select multiplay from the menu, that's only for direct IP. Go to www.ubi.com (http://www.ubi.com) and on the left side click "online games" then scroll down and you will see Pacific Fighters and to the right of that click "play now". Then you might have to install this real small thing but then you are good to go.

Welcome to the Pacific Fighters!

The game itself does not have a server browser. For that you need a 3rd party program.Such as all seeing eye or hyperlobby.

In your case Ubi.com seems to be the only alternative to finding a standalone game to join.

If you click on multiplay in your game there will be 3 options in the next window.1.Join game.2.create game and 3.play at ubi.com.(it is the first button at the top of the window.)

This will take you to the ubi gaming site. You may have to set up a username and password.

it actually doesnt say play at ubi.com only the two other options, but thanks for the ip die hard. By the way does anyone know where to get some training for PF cuz the game itself isnt very helpful.

Strange. My 3.0 version(of the standalone install) says play at Ubi.com as the first button.

However you can go to Ubi.com.On the left click on online games. Then click on Pacific Fighters. Then click play online and it will install the game service software needed.

Once that is installed you are good to go.You should only have to do this once.Once the game service is install all you need to do is click on it and it will take you to ubi.

GO HERE! http://hyperfighter.jinak.cz/

download the program, this is Hyperlobby, and is free. It is the best of the freeware IL2/FB/PF locations, with rarely less than 300 people online, here there are many squadron training servers that u can join...
....for that matter, join a squadron maybe http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
they'll train you into a lean mean vulching machine! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

(hyperlobby in my opinion way better than ubi.com, far more games, far more variety of settings, far more squadrons, and more challenging opponents)

Hyperlobby may be better and may have more people but the gentleman has only the standalone version.( it does not matter why he has only the standalone. The fact is he does and wants to play online)So for him to play the only real options are the standalone servers on Ubi.com as Hyperlobby does not usually have PF standalone servers.

Hyperlobby = no good for stand alone.
