Found this in a book (not exact words)
The Tu-2sh was an experimental ground attack version, with a 75mm gun in a "solid" nose and a battery of 48 7.62 sub-machene guns in the bomb bay directed down to fire on ground personell.

Good for strafing!

Good for strafing, but apparently only very briefly...

Here's a quote from the Tupolev page:

Several ground attack variants of series series Tu-2 were converted for ground attack service. They were tested, but not enter production because Il-2 and later Il-10 did not require replacement until jet age.
The most unusual variant (flown and tested in 1944) carried 88 infantry PPSh sub-machineguns in the bomb bay, bringing concept of weapon designer A.V.Nadashkevich (first realized on TSh-1) into it final shape. All guns were fired simultaneously, providing devastating fire... but for very short time. In-flight reloading of 88 machineguns was too non-practical, and this concept was abandoned.

with proper co-ordination between ground & air-forces , this would have been hellish for your average Wermacht conscript.

they stopped using that loadout of 88 PPsH's when they found out that bombs were pretty much just as effective.

Maybe the recoil of the guns could have made this plane an early VTOL-plane?

There were several types of armament tried out in the Tu-2. The 75mm gun and the 48 machineguns in the bomb bay were different aircraft.
One other version was fitted with a 57mm RShR anti-tank gun in the bomb bay (so the 75mm would have ben as well).
Another version had two 45mm NS-45 guns (in Yak-9K)and two 37mm NS-37 guns (in Yak-9T) under the nose, and two 20mm ShVAK guns in the wing roots. Also a 12.7mm machinegun for rear defence.
