Guys, this is weird. I upgraded my old 9800GT video card to the GTS 250 and now my Saitek x52 HAT will not snap back to center. Have any of you experienced such a problem? I'm going to download and install the latest Saitek drivers to see if this clears things up. My thoughts are a possible driver conflict.

OK, look like Saitek has totally changed their program. The old DAT files will no longer work with the new Profile Editor. The new profiles end in a pr0 instead of DAT. Ugg, looks like I'm going to be doing a lot of profile editing to get things up and running again.

I wonder if Saitek did this because of a conflict? Anyone want to shed some light on this........

Could it be you need to press F9 (in cockpit) to change back from 'Pan' to 'Snap' view?

Try it, it's a toggle, you may have pressed it once, you may need to press it once more.

Man, I am a bonehead sometimes. That did the trick my friend. Now all I need to do is find out how to use my old Saitek DAT profiles with the new Saitek Profiler that uses PR0 profiles......

Yeah, like DD_crash said, there was supposed to be a converter but so far no go.

Guys, I have been in contact with Saitek USA. One of their techies is looking into converting my DAT profile to pr0 format. If this can be done then a program should be released soon. I'll keep you posted on the outcome http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Last night I decided to fuddle around with Saiteks SD6 program and came away pleased with its ease of use. I was able to get all of my profiles completed, tested, saved and printed within two hours time frame. Not bad for a guys with all thumbs on a key board...... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Saitek has confirmed that they DO NOT have a coversion utility for their profiles. Looks like nothing is coming our way anytime soon http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
