I Noticed you have done the 109 from the manufactures drawings, well if you need them I have the original Drawings for all of the Spitfire Marks operated by the RAF Battle of Britain flight on one CD.

The system they used to archive them isn't the best, but its full of the original Drawings. Thought they might help you on your new project http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Page me if you want a copy, I've put an example below for you.

hi,
so far to many designers..

By the way : blueprints is one point and a correct height of virtual pilots view in a combat sim another point.

this depends on correct perspective design of armored windscreen including the frame and the flexible dynamic camera view sytsem in game engine compare to real height of gunsight view in several different warbird cockpits.

Have a look to this pic and the discussion:

One thing that jumps right out at you is the thickness of the reflector glass. The real glass is MUCH thinner than the model.

So according to Jeronimo (via Gibbage) in that thread, the screenshot is not the final version and there are changes to the height of the "bar" at the bottom of the front windshield.

Ooooo..... must... have... Spitfire /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

"As weaponry, both were good, but in far different ways from each other. In a nutshell, I describe it this way: if the FW 190 was a sabre, the 109 was a florett, or foil, like that used in the precision art of fencing." - Gunther Rall
