I use SHCommander 3.1 but I got into a problem. The game , when I load o saved career crashes to desktop.I tried all those missions' saves and CTD at each.I had to replay the last mission from the beginning but after a while the problem reapeared. One day , thinking I noticed something in SHCommander interface...when it appears "null" to the "grid" the game CTD when loading a save(an error in SH3.exe modul). I 'm not talking here about detours to another base and then getting back (when the game spawns that null grid in mission's orders) ok? I also reinstalled the game, the GWX 2.0, upgraded 2.1 SHCommnader 3.1 etc and the problem persisted.I'm sick of starting over and over the "new career" if u know what I mean http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif... I tried to play SH3 without mod and it works with no crashes at all...but it doesn't have the flavor of the Gray Wolves mod..(that fatigue matter drove me crazy in the stock SH3)
Any ideas? Does anyone encountered that sort of problem ?

PS - The manual states something like this: "From here, you'll receive the ability to request a new patrol zone, send out contact reports to other U-boats, request new orders, or an escort if fairly close to a nearby base." I kept an eye of this M button but I didn't see those options ( interraction with the BDU or escort when I was 30 km to a friendly base). What should I do to "enable" those options ?http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Also sometimes I can press (after M button used) for radar contact (but nothing happens excepts when is a convoy) and patrol report but sometimes I can't.Why is that? or sometimes I have to wait to go far away from a convoy to apear the patrol report corectly...Is that how it supposed to be? It's confusing...

Prince_Vlad - You wouldn't happen to know someone called gigikentx (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/857101043/m/5661014276) would you?

Your IP addresses are remarkably similar http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

If you are two different people, try tapping on the wall, because your neighbour has been posting here too, and insulted a lot of people that are deservedly well respected within the community here. Perhaps you do me a favour, and tell your neighbour that people who create secondary profiles on Ubisoft forums to avoid the issues caused by using their first profile, rarely prosper, and do get found out. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.....BUT........I can't pass this post without noticing a distinct change in the angle of approach.

This is afterall a "u-bootswaffe" and if we managed to prosper where everyone else failed, I think we should embarace our achievement. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I can answer two of those questions since you asked nicely.

The "Escort to Base" has been written out. It is in my manual as well but not in the game. Same goes for requesting a new mission grid as far as I know.

Yes in UBI's rush to get the game out the door, some things were left unfinished.

Same goes for me. As to the CTD when reloading a saved career this can happen if you saved while underwater or, I believe, have a lot of other ships or aircraft nearby. I also found that when I fiddled about with TC values in SH3Com my PC fell over repeatedly until I got the balance right. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/compsmash.gif

Have a look over on the technical forum. There are a lot of posts dealing with CTD issues and one of them might match your problem exactly and provide the answer. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Maybe I use the same provider as that nick.I have dinamic alocated address(no real IP - you see only the provider address + the dinamic one), that's the policy of my internet provider so I have thousands of "neighbours".Every invidiual is distinct so make no confusion in the future http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.Taking into consideration the behavior of my "neighbour" I forgive you this time for your lack of politehttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I certainly won't make any confusion in the future. You are clearly the same person. Both gigikentx and prince_vlad profiles have had their posting rights suspended.

Wow. Is it possible that they're seperated twins and inadvertantly live next to each other?

Incredible.
