I was flying back from a mission when I came across two small dots on the horizon. I knew they couldnt be planes because I had killed all of the planes in the mission that I had made myself, and I didnt place any balloons anywhere and they werent chutes. They were about 1000 meters above Nago, Iwo jima and I tried to fly up to them but I ran out of fuel. In the track they were just a couple of little round shiney gray-black things that would disapear if I panned too close to them. Weird glitch I geuss.

"Hello, operator?"
"Yes"
"Quick! Give me the number for nine one one, this is an emergency, I need to report a UFO!"
"Click, bzzzzzzzzzzz"
"Hello... Hello?"

You know in Real life WW2 Pilots reported the same thing, they ended up decaring them as UFO's and so goes the on going saga still today. You actually brought back proof good job man!

Are you sure you don't have a couple of airspawns in your mission, bay accident?

Are you Bill Shatner or John Lithgow?

Do you know how to paste the missions text to this forum. Then we can all go take a look. Or you could host up your ntrk track and we could see it too.

EDIT **** I edited instead of quoted.

I don't even know how to make a spawn happen, maybe you mean a trigger like JanesWW2 had, but heres a low-res 1 min video that tries to show my two little dots 2700 meters(not 1000 like I thought) above Nago. From a distance they look exactly like aircraft, but I cant fly into them, its impossible. Maybe they are caused by the objects I placed in Nago. But anyway, Lithgow or Shatner would probly still freakout.

Depending on what my video set up is at the time, I sometimes see ground objects from impossible distances.
It seems to be more noticable at dawn or dusk, and with haze or mist.

I find myself following or trying to catch strange dots too.

Only, I figure out that the "dot" is from an old sneeze, or something worse...<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Open your mission .mis file with note pad copy paste text here.

Or do a quick save track and then host it up with share file or something. And then provide us a link.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

After seeing the video I'd say this is either a cleaver trick or a glitch, buts whats really weird is the climb of that corsair http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I think I found what it was: I placed 2 V1 Airs on the ground in Nago as potential targets, so I think those little dots are right above them. I'm not making a big deal about it, I have had PF+FB+AEP loaded in my pc for a loooong time, so I have no complaints, I love this sim. But still; I can't seem to copy and paste my mission, it won't paste. How can I have you see my track anyway? it's 45 minutes long http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Just to confirm that it's clearly part of the V-1 model. I get the same dots if there are any Buzzbombs in a mission.

In the QMB I have a small furball set up (aren't they all) and, after the initial run in, I saw a small dot way down below me.

Thinking it was a bandit, I dove straight down after it. It turned out not to have been a bandit but a dead pilot plummeting to earth. What's more, I was plummeting to earth quicker than he was and that pilot took me wing off. And so I carried on, on me merry way down to earth.

Fortunately, I've recorded this in a track (appropriately methinks called 'dead man's bluff'). Unfortunately, you guys will not get to see it - yet. But I have a good laugh watching it over and over again.

They are Foo Fighters. Not to be confused with the singing group. Thats what WW2 pilots called them anyway.

Hey maybe I should go try to shoot those dots, maybe they'll blow up! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif
Hey Hoatee , can you post a screenshot or 2 of dead mans bluff?
