These guys watch too much Top Gear... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Yesterday at 11:30 a british cadet rammed his tank against the wall of a house in Lichtenau near Paderborn. Although the outside damage looks tiny ,he moved the entire living room by 10 centimeters http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

According to the Polizei the cadet said : "Oh bugger..." http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1072.gif

Three months ago another british cadet rammed a car with his tank in Paderborn and caused a 2000 € damage http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

For unknown reasons, the tank which stopped behind a car on a red traffic light, suddenly moved forward. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The area in and around Paderborn (nicknamed little England) has a population of over 140,000, of which approx. 10% are students at the local university and about 10,000 are members or former members of the British armed forces.

The vast majority of the armed forces and families are located in the Sennelager ward, due to the proximity of the large barracks on Bielefelder Straße.

Ahh an old 432 AFV!

I wouldn't have been surprised if there was an agreement made with the owner, it's like the old rumours I kept hearing about the British troops and local German farmers. If a farmer needed a new barn the British troops while exercising in the area would by accident of course damage it and the MOD would pay out the compensation to keep the peace and for PR reasons. The troops would of course been well looked after by the farmer in return for the promise of a new barn http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Of course these are old stories passed down the through the generations http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif Celeon now thinks of making such a deal too.... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

Do you think a accidental airstrike on Celeon's post socialistic arpartment would be too much to be believable ? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

*Celeon already prepares a list for the MOD*

Items destroyed in airstrike on my apartment :

- one van-Gogh
- one Silent Hunter IV Deluxe Edition box with contents

- three tv-sets

*adds the red bavarian rocket to the list and walks down to the bunker*

We just have to make sure that the forensic "BMW Experten" of the "Polizei" dont ruin our plan.

Question is, does it go as fast as it looks? I would think that boxy light bar would add a heck of a lot of drag. Maybe you need the racing engine just to overcome it?

In the US they've been going with the ultra low profile LED bars lately. Not my first choice, but it sure cuts down on drag.

When Celeon visited the overseaish rebellious colonies.... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif....he used this little thingy to make his all-european equipment (mainly from Taiwan) become compatible with the local tribish power net. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/7528/pic0012sg1.jpg

Better said it only made my gadgets u.s socket compatible and i had to rely on things which demand less than 120 volts. (Like my old Gameboy) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Other things wouldnt work with this strangely low voltaged american power system. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/disagree.gif

Not enough "zapp!" in your sockets. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

You should have seen the face of the costums officer as my bag was running through the x-ray....it must have looked like a little IED to him and he made http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

Don't these vehicles run with an 'inverted' accelerator (similar to a tractor)... you have to keep the pedal down to keep it stationary. Lift your foot and away it goes http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif
