Since its release, AC has received mixed reviews from what I've read all over the web.
Ubisoft has said that they have not begun production of a sequel and they were basing the decision to make a sequel (or not)on the success of this game.
After playing this game would you be interested in buying a sequel?

Oh, for sure, most deffinently and with a out a doubt. Oh and yes they have started on the sequal. Not actaul "production" like making the box art and discs yet but they have already discussed it and started making the story and throwing out ideas for the next one. Plus you know there will be sequal because of the ending. If they do not make one I will sue for pain and suffering http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif (Joke)

I'm not sure if anyone else here is an avid reader. But whenever I read a part of a series I'm always like "Holy Grail (AC reference http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif ) its f'ing 6 months before I can read the next one!!!" But with the AC trilogy, it could well be 3 - 4 years before I get to 'read' the next one ; _ ;

I'd buy it even if it was all 'desmond' sequences. Definately worth a buy. Awesome story imo.

I reckon they should make... 99999999999999999 games.... and allow us to bleed in with the game ourselves all "animus style"... xD

Only those who have completed the game know what I'm on about http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I haven't had my xbox too long ( finished the game though) so I don't really know how this works, but wouldn't it be possible to UBI too give us downloadable Assassination maps, or even a kinda "make ur own targetmaps"-program or sumthing, from Xbox live?

If you didn't understand what I just wrote, got a little confusing, just ask me http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

For sure, the game was epic. The environments were astounding (truly next gen). Yes, the game was repetitive. But it was fun! I wouldn't be opposed to more side quests though. Maybe side assassinations that vary in difficulty and give you bonuses (not sure what).

But yes, I'm definately interested in a sequel. I want to know what happens with Abstergo and the modern assassins.

i have a feeling that the next AC will be with another patient at the place Desmound is being held at (the name escapes me right now) since Jade said in an interview that not all the games may follow with altair

yeah, mabye the next setting could be in a rennasance theme1 Think about it, it would give the developers the opprutiunty to expand on the games swordfighting componets and introduce basic firearms to the game! firearms wouldnt play a major role mind you, but they could be present and guards with themwoudl be something to watch out for. I'm guessing the next game (I've forced myself to belive there will be athoner one despite peoples doubts)much better then the original mostly because the developers will know how they screwed up
