I'm turning as little as 60 only on christmas day. FB/PF my favourite past time, occasionally FS2004, besides constantly tweaking my rig to squeeze out max performance & eye candy at 1600x1200 max settings. Eagerly waiting for SH3, too.

Season's Greetings

50 here and still play games on the pc. Seems the older I get the younger I feel. And now that the kids are grown and gone the only real expense now is grandchildren and my pc.

16 and one of the younger players.
I knew that IL2 was mostly played by adults, but I din't think there are so many 50+ years old players.
When I think about all the "old" people I know and how they don't even know how to start a computer I'm amazed that there are 60 year old players! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif
But that's propably why this community is so good, more adult...
S all!

41,
I remember playing first carrier landing on ZXSpectrum "computer". The plane was composed from some 6 big pixels and a carrier was not much more complicated.
Now I play PF and from time to time FB and FS2004

So far I may be the GRAND DADDY AT 70 & still loving my flt sims. I've been at it since LUCAS GAMES produced "BATTLEHAWKS 1942" and MSFM ver.2

Presently flying PF and MS2004. Have most of my grandkids(boys & girls) turned on to Aviaton, and fltsims. Have always been a aviation enthusiast. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Here we go...I am 14 years old. I have been playing 'Military' games ever since i was like 7. I have a special "thing" for WWII aircraft. And so does my pops. PF is definitely one of my top favorites.

This question generally reveals that this community averages mid to late thirties and ranges over all ages from late childhood to as old as it gets. In terms of age range, this genre is about as universal as it gets.

Me: 42 years.

Well, my 16 yr old son calls me a geek. He is somewhat entertained sitting and watching me fly with my squadmates on Saturday evening. It's hard for him to belive that a 56yr old, a 46yr old, a 41yr old, a 40yr old, a 38yr old, a 36yr old, and a 15 yr old sit for hours flying an talking about strategy on TS. Me, I'm the 40yr old one. The funny thing about it, our 15yr old fits in fine with the older crowd. He has been with us for a very long time. My son can't believe he actually enjoys hanging with us older folk. loll Makes me feel "cool". http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif
